Let your palate go on a
legendary journey through traditional and Tuscan cuisines
at the Cibreo restaurant. Cibreo’s owner, Fabio Picchi
has crafted two magical worlds for lovers of food at Cibreo.
The trattoria locally known as Cibreino, has been created
with a rustic décor and casual dining and the other
dining area possesses a décor which is elegantly
paneled and ideally decorated for fine dining. Famous and
popular, Cibreo also has a branch in Tokyo.
Cibreo displays a spectrum of delectable dishes with big
quantities of amuse-queules but no antipasto. This range
includes a soft tomato jelly gently spiced with basil and
chilli, a ricotta and parmesan soufflé or a gelatinous
spicy tripe salad. Surprisingly there is no pasta but a
fabulous selection of soups which includes a velvety yellow
pepper soup and polentas. Secondi as a fantastic range has
stuffed pigeon, stuffed chicken neck and inzimino (a superb
rich and spicy stew of squid, spinach and chard). With desserts
you can die for, Cibreo crafts a sweet range with cheesecake
with tangerine marmalade, a famous flourless chocolate cake
and a raspberry tart that remains etched as a delicious
memory. |
